Supported Living
We provide high quality Supported Living service with Personal Care for individuals of aged 13-17 and 18-65 years old with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. Better Life Production Company aims to provide a safe, nurturing supported living environment where everyone can feel valued with individual talents, strengths, and capabilities. We seek to provide care and support that is ambitious and stimulating to encourage each person to develop, thrive and fulfil their personal potential.
Live Independently
If you don`t have your own home or tenancy, the care can be provided in single person apartment or house. The environment is a unique and important part of the model. This allows people to live in their own space for care and support to be delivered in a domestic environment which replicates community living more closely than a traditional group living setting. The apartments also allow bespoke care to be delivered for the individual and risks and behaviours to be more effectively managed. Our homes are designed around the individual with high specification, robust furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
Activities & Travel
We provide a wide range of meaningful activities, tailored to individual capabilities, to help develop communication, social and life skills, building confidence and self-esteem, while helping people progress to a more independent lifestyle. Exercise and different activity can reduce anxiety and improve the ability to regulate emotions, build resilience to anxiety-triggering situations.
The Right Care
All our staff are skilled and experienced within their role and professional background allows them to work on building relationship with the individual whilst support them with living their lives. With the right support, there is no reason why the great majority of people with a learning disability, autism or complex needs should not enjoy living independently, working at a proper job, having a social life.
Positive Behaviour Support
Through our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services, we specialise in supporting adults with autism, learning disabilities, mental health and other conditions who sometimes display behaviours that other people may find challenging.
Positive Behaviour Support is central to our approach. Our in-house PBS team works closely with staff in all our homes to monitor the behavioural, emotional, and psychological needs of those we care for.
